Well I'm definitely impressed.....the car is for my oldman who has a 00 S500 coming up in Nov, doesn't need a tank anymore. So I went down to speak with his salesperson and ended up ordering an E500- Brilliant Silver/Charcoal (wrote down some options, but obviously not sure what the situation is yet). Should be interesting.

Oh, I saw a new black 7 series on a test drive today.....thats an ugly car.

 

 

Anyone know if the roof of the car is a panorama roof like the c-coupe? Coz it seems all black (tinted) on the roof, though you do see the shape of the sunroof itself!!!

Is it me or does that auto shifter look similar to the sequentronic...would this mean we can finally get our hands on it in the E50? Sounds like something they would do for lower cost.

The Avantgarde Instrument Cluster is very nice. Also the panoramic roof.

Long, long wait for the E500 4Matic. I don't believe that the 4Matic will be made until at 2003 as 2004 models and that may only be on the E320 4Matic at first in the US.

The E500 OEM standard tire will be 245/45/17 and the E320 will gets 225/55/16.
