Yeah, youre right, take the whole thing off and ship it to me, YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT? Man, it sounds AWESOME. The only thing to consider, and only you will be able to tell, is how loud it is inside and if there is any wierd resonance. If it bugs you at crusing speeds, then it will become a pain real fast. Otherwise......
Great job.....

Sounds great from the outside!
But are you getting any droning inside the cabin at say...1800-2000 rpm under load? I had that with my previous magnaflow setup and couldn't take it.

magnaflows are hell. (well at least that how i felt when i had them on my e320) it was just droning like crazy.
i spent a good fortune on putting e55 tips on sl55 mufflers, could have actually bought a nice aftermarket system. but most of them drone (in my opinion at least) but i think i am happy with my current results.

,
no. no drone. with my current piping and e55 mufflers i had a very little amount of droning. with sl55 mufflers its pretty much not there.

Just curious, where'd you score SL55 muffs...? Just get lucky or..? I'm looking at options to mod my E500 4M exhaust and just can't bring myself to spend several grand on Remus, SuperSprint, etc... Looks like I'll Frankenstein an E55 AMG system and tips similar to what lot of guys here have done but finding the E55 muffs has been the hard part at a resonable cost...
