E-Class (W211) 2003-2009

The bimmer guys are running staggered on their awd, how come we can't on our 4matics?

I'm shopping around for rims and i find nothing but staggered for our cars. I have a 4matic my current rims are 19x8.5 all around on 245/35/19

It'd be nice to have fat lips in the rears.

Idk for sure HOW staggered they can be, but I decided to try a set of staggered wheels I had on my 211 4Matic and they work fine. I think it comes down to the functionality of the awd system with different weight at the front vs. the rear wheels. They FIT fine though.

The problem is excessive drive train wear with a slight difference with front and rear tire height....
