Ok we were quoted 39 months $648 mo. and 2263 down on a base 09' e350 sport. MB would pay off the remaining 6 months of our lease which is $3600.Has anybody negotiated a better deal?

Looks like the rates for 27mo. are not a good deal anymore.

True, his is sweet as well. I'm just a sucker for Silver on the right car albeit as common as the color is, someone who Parks near me just got an '09 Silver with the AMG Option, I always look at it and think: "do I like it more....? "should I....?", hehe. I guess something new/different always intrigues us naturally, and I've only had my car for a few months.

Definitely wait. I got mine between Christmas and New Years (more closer to New Years). The dealer was really bending over backwards because he wanted to get rid of cars before the end of the year. The only downside to that is that they might not have the color you'd like.

Does P1 include HID lamps? My dealer have plenty of 08 E350 with P1, so I hope to get even better deal.

No unfortunately it does not. Even the rear lights are regular lights and not the LEDs.

I do not think E class ever had LED. However no HID is a big turn off. How are they going to sell remaining stock?

I've seen a couple in my are that had LED tail lights. Kinda sexy looking.

No HIDs standard is not a good strategy IMHO. Even TSX has them standard. That's why I can't imagine owning a Benz without them. And I love the add-ons like KeylessGo that come with P2. BTW, I'm paying 549/month for 24 months with 8K/year. $1,000 out the door including 1st payment. Got the car Dec 26th, 2007. December has the best deals I think... oh and I paid $300 shipping from another dealer 500 miles away just to have my color and all the goodies I wanted. MSRP was $60,350 and I believe the price on the contract was stated as $54,xxx....

Thanks, I thought so as well until I saw some members paying $499/month for the same car with 10K miles... and others paying $550 for a CLS -- don't know how real those numbers are for that CLS. I just hope I can get the same deal I have now next time.

If you put $10k down, then paying $550 for CLS looks reasonable.

I thought all Sport Packages have rear LED's? I haven't seen many if any non-Sport 07+'s so I can't ever recall seeing an '07+ without LED's if I'm not mistaken?

I do not believe the current sport package has LED's. The sport/appearance package on the pre-facelift models may have included it though.

Wow that's a trip, I always thought they did. Yeah the pre face-Lift Appearance/Sport Packages came with them, I guess that makes me feel better about no LED's on mine (for some reason the AMG Sports don't come with them).
