Buying an E500 coming from 01 CLK 320.
Hello guys, i recently sold my 01 clk 320 that i loved a lot. The reason i sold it was because i wanted something newer with lower miles and with more power. I have been looking at clk 500s 03 and up and i also looked at e500s. I was almost going to buy a clk 500 with around 50k miles for around $18k until i found this 04 E500 that has basically ALL the options out there. It has 75k miles, parktronic, distronic, keyless go, voice command, navigation, bluetooth, heated and ac seats, countour seats???, airmatic suspension and what not. The thing is it has 75k miles and i can probably get it for 19k. Now my question is should i get this car? is the mileage ok for this car? can i run this car for another atleast 5 years?
Also one thing i noticed that this car's front bumper does not match some other E500s i have seen. Did they have different body options for e500s? here is a front picture. Any help or suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated guys. Maybe with your input i can make my mind up. thank you very much

This is the appearance package bumper. I have the same kind, I like it a lot compared to the base one. Very nice one you find, love white on these cars. I say go for it, but just have it inspected thoroughly.

Good options and a good deal. 75K is not much at all if the Car was taken care of very well. Get it inspected for sure, but I wouldn't pass up that car with those options if it checks out perfectly.

The price and year and mileage sounds about right. White looks good and as long as you keep up the maintenance on the car it will last you for another 5 years. My 05 E500 is going on 85K and I drive the hell out of her and she takes it.
My advice by law you can have the car inspected ANYWHERE at your expense. Take the car to a local MB dealership (no mom and pop shops, buyer referred shops etc) and have them do a 'purchase inspection'. Well worth the money and it will make you feel much better about purchasing the car
