AGE OF w211 drivers?:)
I love the W211 and have had no issues yet.
O and Welcome!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
As for Sam, I still go to the dealer and my indie for certain jobs, not that everyone on the forum does their car maintenance completely by themselves. It's a place for mods, advice, and troubleshooting to make those experiences much easier. While a lot of the forum members seem to be younger, there are a decent number of members I can think of in that age range you talked about. VettDvr is one of the best contributors to this forum (he's since bought a Chrysler 300c) but he did a lot of his own work and has helped a lot of us do the same. As he says once an engineer, always an engineer.
Well I'd tend to disagree Sir- I'd say a MAJORITY of the owners that are my age (46) read the forums cuz they have been thru the muscle cars and tuners and now ride with elegant power instead of retardedness.
Having said that, I do see younger w211 drivers but rarely. What I see are slightly older people with a more refined sense of urgency. My goal was to be 1st and fastest. Now my goal is to be alive and look good doing it.
You know the story of the young Bull and the Older Bull looking down at the field of cows? Well Im the older bull now and just knowing that I drive a HAMMER and everyone else drives NAILS give me a sense of satisfaction....PROVING it gives me a WOODY!
Don't like the look of the new E-250??. Will keep this one.https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif
