Hey etenn,

You're in luck!!

Go to user cp. Click on the tab that says "Edit Ignore List."

There ya go, (that'll be ten bucks please-j/k).

Hey

Hey, etenn,

At least have the decency to fax me a real ten dollar bill, not that photocopy you keep sending me, LOL!

Yeah. Tell everyone you're putting me on your ignore list (since it is better to ignore an alternative point of view than lose an argument to it), but I know privately you still can't help but to read my responses Haha!

This is becoming incredibly childish, people - let's act like adults and keep this board from becoming the MB equivalent of a Yahoo! discussion forum, ok?

Gentlemen, WHHHOOOOAAAAA! I have read thoughtful and informative posts from all of you. I have read funny posts from all of you. I have read some posts from all of you that I disagreed with and in some cases that were irritating to me. I am sure that I have written posts that some or all of you have disagreed with and that some or all of you might have been irritated by.

But, I think that is the nature of the forum approach to communication. We really don't know the character or personality of other members. We don't actually know whether a remark that seems irritating is intended that way or as a humorous remark.

Even with those drawbacks, the forum provides a wonderful means of communicating with others who do care enough about the subject to come back, read, post and, yes, "spout off". I have had exchanges with folks from the US, Malaysia, Panama, UK, Canada, Kuwait, etc. etc. There is no way I would ever have had the opportunity to do that without MBWorld's forum.

With that comes the part of reading stuff that I don't like and that may irritate me. Well, actually, that makes the experience more interesting to me. I made a post once that sort of capsulizes this for me. That is that differences of opinion make the "world" (MBWorld and otherwise) a better place. If everyone agreed with ElDiabloJoe, etenn, Jim Banville and/or jhb, think how boring this would be. We would not learn anything, much less be so entertained.
