Battery

I have a red battery light malfunction on a 2003 E-500...Where is the best place to buy a battery?

2005 E500, 2011 ML350
from the dealer.....

Make sure you replace the correct battery, typically a red light is the aux battery located under the hood.

Is there a trick to getting the battery cover off, I'm having trouble

This trick works pretty well, certified MB tech does it for you......

I do not know if they do the aux battery though, sign and drive is supposed to be for jump start / battery replacement when car is not starting.

Also, it may not be a bad idea to have the car looked at. You make have additional issues. (i.e battery control module fault). You may even want to check if the campaign for control module flash applies to your vehicle and was performed.

It was the aux battery and the trick to getting the top of havc was just "snapping:" the cover from the side back.
