Brabus Project Teaser Pics
Hey guys, my Brabus car is just about done. Just finishing up some final touches and I'll have lots more pix for you. Maybe Monday?! For now, a few of the front. Yes, I know it needs the hood badge still! Enjoy. P.S. Thanks for all the help I recieved through the boards who helped me get this project together. I really appreciate it.

Thanks for your support guys! I'm excited to show you all the rest of it. I will be picking it up tomorrow from Star Motoring in Englewood NJ. They did the install for me. Unfortunatly, I am still working out the minor details of this project so pictures won't be taken until its all finished. I am still waiting on a proper fitting tow square, I need authentic hood and trunk badges, and the moldings for the rear bumper need to be inserted (I have them.) Other than that, I am pretty much set. When I went to pick it up on Saturday I wasn't happy w/ the alignment of the exhaust as it seemed to sit just flush w/ the bumper and not really showing those embossed B logos. I am having them match them up so they look proper and then I may go back and change the puddle lights. They seem to bleed into one another rather than drop circles of light as they appear to on most other Brabus cars. The problem really is that most of you Brabus guys (you know who you are) have access to CEC in Newport or over in Florida where they know exactly what and how everything is supposed to be. While my shop is very good, we don't quite have the same resources you guys do so putting together the most complete and authentic Brabus car over here on the East Coast is just a bit more difficult. In any event, it will get done, and be as authnetic as if CEC produced it themselves. Thats the goal anyway...Thanks again for everyones support and the countless calls for help that were recieved w/ open ears. You are all much appreicated. Hope to have a finished product for you soon!

2005 E500 with 'some' BRABUS upgrades
Here are the pictures buddy of my exhaust set up hope they help out!
My boys muffler shop pushed the tips out about a good 1.5 inches from the 'factory' BRABUS fitments.
I also included other pictures showing the tips at different angles and better picture quality.
crap cell phone pics (too lazy to bust the camera out )

Guys, thanks for the support! I really can't wait to show it to you all. I got it back yesterday and I'm loving it! The woman loves it too! Especially the puddle lights! How could you not? Super classy, I love how they only come on when you open the doors and aren't obnoxious or overdone. I just threw the 20"s back on that I have posted from my original pictures. I had a set of staggered 19" mono whatever replicas for beating up. This car has 3 sets of wheels! I have these 20"s which will most likely be what is pictured when I post, the replicas and a set of 19" staggered Mono S wheels that are authentic. Too many wheels! Anyway, still waiting on the hood badge and rear emblems to clean up the car. Flying hood star has got-to-go! I also want to loose the front plate but that will be a little more difficult. Having BRABUS euro plate on the front isn't exactly under the radar if you know what I mean. I hate how the front plate obstructs the look. I'm crazy I know. But its just about finished, maybe if I get antsy I'll post some more teasers. Again, I really appreciate all the support thanks to everyone on the boards who made it happen. SLAVIK check your PMs the car is ON CAMPUS NOW!

Bro...that looks great...I just think maybe the tips a sitting a little low. Any chance that the straps holding them up may have too much slack. If you like it as is by all means go for it...either way great job on the modifications.

Okay, I am NOT a photographer! I need to get a better camera. Here are a few quick shots a took. I'll get together some more shortly weather got bad later on in the day today...BE NICE!
Also, if anyone can tell me how to post bigger pictures like BrabusE500 did that'd be great. I'm camera retarded. Anyhow, hope you all like it, it is not quite finished yet as you probably know. still needs badges, and a drop! I'm working on the drop the badges are on the way it will take a little longer than I thought because everyone is out at SEMA this week. Next up will be interior mods (shift knob, door sills, door pins, floor mats). After that I'm going after a Brabus front brake kit by Alcon. They want $900 for pads! What are these guys nuts?! haha I'm pretty sure I'm the nuts one actually. Anyway, enjoy, comment but don't bash it okay! Work In Progress!

Looking good! Needs some BRABUS wheels *ahem* lol .... what are you going to do with the wheels on there now?
Do we have the same mufflers or did BRABUS make different ones for the 6 cyl? I'm curious to know how your sounds.
Looking good though

The Mono-S wheels are on the way! 19"s these on there are 20"s. Not a bad looking wheel in person though. Thanks for the compliments. I know the pix aren't exactly flattering. I need to do some type of photoshoot w/ a backdrop or something. You wanna fly out here and help me out?!! The exhaust 2 me sounds great! Really love it, not too crazy. I'm pretty sure this exhaust was on a 500 so no, its what you have. After seeing Stefan's Wald E500 video of the car moving I have to something like that now haha. Theres nothing better than being able to see and hear your hard work moving ont he road. Something you don't normally get to enjoy. I'll do that soon so you can all hear it. How do you post these videos on youtube anyway? I'm looking foward to that.
