Electronic truck closer acting up during the rain today

Electronic trunk closer acting up during the rain today
Hello guys, first time rain at S. Cal.. and notice problems on my truck right the way, first when I push the button to close the truck the truck will close and pop open and it happend twice, I thought it was because my key was to far from the car, but I don't remember seeing that problem before, also I noticed that some times i push the button the truck will simply not close, it will close two to three inches and stop like there is something stopping it.. I am not sure if this is normal and I can't not duplicate it every time and I am sure those guys at the dealer won't be able to fix it until they can see the problem. Any suggestions?
Update: I have tried a couple more times, I can't duplicate the problem where it closed the trunk then pop open again, but I was able to duplicate the problem where it will close like about 2 to 3 inches and reverse, it felt like the trunk hit some thing and reversed, but there is nothing stuck (as far as I can see), but after a few tries, the trunk totally stopped, I have to manually open and close the trunk. however after about 30mins, I tried my trunk again and it started to work again.. What gives?? thermal protection triggered? why would the trunk close and then pop wide open again? lastly why would the trunk close and reverse like it hit something?
