CrossDrilled and/or Slotted??

Hi!

I have a 2005 E500 with the AMG Sport Package. The calipers say "Mercedes-Benz". I have exhaustively re-read all the comments about this in existing threads, but it appears inconclusive whether the 2007+ E550 with a Sport Package Rotors (which are apparently crossdrilled) will fit my particular car. Has anyone else tried this? Anyone with knowledge to diameter, offset, stud hole pattern, thickness, weight that can comment on this. Maybe there is someone who knows the answer (like konigstiger who always seems to have the answer!) reading this....

Thanks for reading!

I had the same question with regards to my 2003 E500 and was told the rotors will fit but you need the E550 calipers as well.

I have a 2006 E500 sport. The factory rotors are cross drilled. The caliper is painted silver with a black MERCEDES BENZ logo on it.

Perhaps cross check the P/N of 2006 E500 sport rotors and against the 07 E550 rotors?

Hi and thanks!

Sounds like we have the same calipers (i suspect that the E550 calipers are the same as the 2005 E500 AMG pkg calipers and yours as well). Sounds like good news. I will try your suggestion.

Thanks again!

RE: Rotors

The 07 up Sport rotors will fit your car just fine. They are not horribly expensive, will enhance it looks, and will give you OEM braking reliability.

can you use the factory cross drilled rotors on a non-sport 4matic?
