Without 489 Airmatic and/or 950/951/952/P96 sports suspension
P-B-32.25/68 SEPT08 Metallic knocking/rattling noise from front axle when driving on rough and/or uneven road surfaces when the wheel rebounds, replace front shock absorbers with revised parts (left A2113237900, right A2113238000).
Noise caused by shock absorber’s internal rebound buffer spring. The condition is most pronounced when driving slowly over speed bumps. Rebound buffer has been eliminated in the revised shock absorbers – planned to enter series production on 10/01/08.
