First few mods to my E500 Colorado Style...
Been lurking here for a few weeks since I traded my CLK 500 for an '05 E500 4-matic. So far, 20% tint, clear corners, staggered 19's with Potenza 960AS's on MRR GT1's, lowered on links, K&N's, door handle inserts... The car has the Heating package, Active bi-xenons, Parktronic, Keyless Go, HK/cd changer, Appearance package, Avante Garde Sport Package, Sunroof Package and CPO until 2011... Before you give me crap about the splash guards, they are necessary in Colorado if you want to keep paint on the rockers... The DOT uses crushed granite on the roads in winter and it tears up paint and glass... Quad stainless tips and mufflers going on this weekend if the weather holds out...

It's a good start. I went with MRR GT1's originally too. Pretty good bang for the buck. If you do the quad tips, please cut out the bumper or replace it with an AMG one. You're not gonna be happy with those tips hanging out from underneath the rear skirt.

MRR GT1's will work for winter wheels... I think I'll run a Forged wheel with dedicated Summer tire during the good weather months... Winter here in Colorado is real hard on wheels, paint and glass... As far as the tips, I plan to cut the bumper so they fit... Don't like that hanging-under look either...
