platinum blue metallic

Before someone posts links to old pictures, and yells at me for not doing a search,I've already seen Vroomvroom and jukebox's pictures, which are wonderful. However, I'm very interested in seeing what platinum blue looks like at dusk, and also in sun. Also, the stock photo at auto trader is a greyish blue, heavy on the grey side. Is that also platinum blue or some other color in wonky lighting conditions?

um....Plat. blue is one of those colors that DO NOT come out well in photos. so go see the car for yourself, because it was very different from what i pictured the car being when i first ordered it last July.

It is one of those colors that looks quite different under different lighting conditions and angles. I get a TON of compliments on mine wherever I am.

I am awating delivery of mine. I have seen one at dealer. In direct sulight it clearly has the blue tinge. In less light it takes on a grey appearance. I think it looks great.

MCO, sounds like our cars will be on the same boat. Ours was built on 12-17 also Platinum Blue/Ash. The dealer said the boat is due in San Pedro tomorrow.

Roncar,

Interesting! My dealer said the car was due in port on the 25th, but maybe he just didn't want to get me too excited in case there were delays. It usually takes about a week from port to dealer I've been told.

Thanks for the info!
