Tell me this car did not come with the AMG badge on the trunk...

No cars come with AMG badges that aren't AMGs. Some dealerships put them on there either for customers or to attract potential customers but ultimately any AMG badge that is on a non-AMG car such as this one is an attempt to perpetuate the on-going ***** showing game. (If you haven't seen Waiting you might not get that haha)

I just don't get it sometimes...on its own that car is great looking and clean ride. It doesn't need the badge. Instead of appreciating the beauty of the car we are instead talking about it being a poser.

2005 E500 with 'some' BRABUS upgrades
2003-2005 E Classes did not come with the AMG Badge. From what I heard 07+ MB buyers tend to ask for it as a added option. On top of that I have seen cars at the lot with the badge ready to go and no AMG parts at all (cosmetic or performance) LOL!

According to the data card, the car did come with options 772, AMG body styling and 790, AMG wheels but as above, I don't believe it had the AMG badge from the factory.

Yes, I have seen many 07+ E's with the AMG badge on it. I have seen about 3 550's in my area alone with AMG badges on it, and there are only a handful of 550's around too.

My fiance and I are looking for limos, and we saw one company with a "S550 AMG" (had the badge). I asked if it was indeed an AMG, and he said it had the AMG motor. I didn't ask to see the motor bec. I was highly skeptical when I noticed the non-AMG calipers....
