front ball joints and bushing repair w/tire balance
my service advisor told me its going to cost around 1324 replacing the ball joints and bushings and a wheel balance ($50.00) tax included ... is that a resonable price? they also said my engine mounts collapsed .....

Can you be more specific with "the ball joints", if it is all ball joints the car has, then it is very cheap, if that was only one joint, it would be expensive (but you do use plural, I guess then somewhere in-between).

the front lower control arm ball joint on both sides driver and passanger... the one that alot of e class's are notorious for... the ones that make the squeaking/clunking noise in the front driver side or passanger side when they go bad .... and replacment of bushings which bushings .. i am not sure but possibly the control arm bushings......

It sounds a little high? Assuming thrust arm bushings (LCA is pretty rare on 211) and lower ball joints, job should be around $1100 from dealer. Alignment would be recommended but not neccasary.
