starting problem
i have E with 90000km. And today in morning i tried to start the car and during my first try the engine clicked but it did not start but in second or third try the engine started. This is the second time it happened with me. So could it be due to the cold temperature because today it was very cold. if not then can any one here please tell me what could be the reason of this problem
thank you

Do you mean you heard a "click" but the engine did not crank? If it did crank but did not start, then it could be the CPS sensor. If it did not crank, it sounds like an issue with the starter motor solenoid or related.

i tried starting with the second key it still doesnt start in first attempt and battery voltage is fine. So i am sure that it cranks but it does not starts and then after while like after 10 mins the car starts. I have noticed one more thing on a day if it ever starts in first attempt then it doesnt gives me problem for the whole day. Plus on other forum i found out that it could be due to bad feul pump. honestly i dont know what to do i am just afraid to take this to dealership. Right now i was thinking of changing CPS sensor

It is not the key if the key turns in the ignition slot. I understand this is a gasser, not sure how likely a fuel pump would be, I doubt it if it runs otherwise fine.
Sounds more like the CPS sensor as on the first reply.
