What was the difference between 05 vs 06 E500?

I Can't think of anything off the top of my head pertaining to the V8's, but I do know from what I've heard and understand, '05 is when the quality on these cars started improving dramatically, and '06 is when it got about on par to where it is today.

From off the top of my head, all I can think of was that Drive Dynamic seats were removed (unless you have a very early 06, then it might have it). 05 E320 v. 06 E350 had a lot of big engine and transmission changes.
From 04 to 05 came a lot of changes. No more butterfly armrest (love, but just broke the handle last week), AC/heated seats don't come with premium package anymore (need comfort package), no more REST, no more charcoal filter.
