Connecting 1G Ipod Shuffle to 2009 E350

Hello,

I have a 1Gig IPOD Shuffle and I am getting a 2009 E350. Will this particular IPOD work (connect properly) in the glove box? Do I need another adapter? I know that the 09's now come prewired for IPODs but I'm not sure if a Shuffle will work.

Thanks.

None of the iPod shuffles are supported.

Plug it in using AUX. It will work perfectly.

If it has the iPod/USB connector, will it still have an AUX connector?

Which head unit does the car have? If it is the new NTG2.5, don't you have a lot more than 1G space for music on the hard drive, why would you want to use any external player?

Or use the memory card instead.

Exactly. The shuffle is moot when you have 4GB of music register space AND a card slot, too.
