Question consensus on drive-dynamic seats?? worth it?

Please describe your experiences thus far - I have heard that they are great, and that they are worthless....

Dude welcome to the forum!
i dont know how good the seats are but most people on this forum seem to be appreciating them, i think youve confused dynamic drive with multicontour seats, now those are crap by anyones opinion on this forum (again i havent tried them hehe)

well, i can not decide.. drive dynamic, as I read it, adjusts when you are cornering, etc. and multi-contour seats just have more adjustments.. which one is the unapreciated?? thanks

I would suggest you use the search function and do one on drive dynamic and another on mult contour.

I have not read one favorable comment on the latter. Only a very few people have posted about the former, and I don't think there is a consensus about the drive dynamic.

GET THE DRIVE DYNAMIC SEATS!!!

Period.

The DD seats have basically the multicontour features as well, with all kinds of adjustments that are barely noticeable unless certain other parts of certain spots in the seat are adjusted just so...essentially, DD is both features, and the way those side bolsters inflate each time you take a hard corner - there's NOTHING cooler in any car at this time, not anything I know of anyway. It's the ultimate useful gadget toy.

Question on Dynamic Seat

Schvetkaaks, does the dynamic seat have a "massage feature" for the lumbar or seat back? TIA.

Lumbar - and it pulses gently for about 5 minutes. Very nice for keeping circulation going on a long-ish trip

Umm K

I can't say for sure since I've never sat in one, but I heard a rumor that the Maybach's pano roof employs some type of crystalline or gas chromatographic technology in the pano roof glass.

Remember those once-way cool lamps. You touch the base, and it turned on, off, or up in intensity/down in dimmness?

As I understand (Via a rumor from a third party who refused to sign the affidavit...), you touch the glass in the Maybach pano roof, and it goes completely clear. Touch it again, and the crystals realign and go completely opaque (cannot see through--solid). Touch a third time, and it goes very dark like regular moon/sun roof tint.

Anyhow, seeing how technology tends to filter downward (I swear to you, I saw a brand new Buick with paper plates that had xenon or HID lights. A BUICK!!), I can hardly wait for the technology to filter down to the S and E classes.

EDJ, are you saying that the DD seats also have the features of the Climate comfort front seats (Option 401)? Does the back your front seats have vents? TIA for clarifying.

Ordered LH/RH DD seats and will like to know what I am getting! Sounds like DD seats are worth the money!
