Anyone have any updated info on the availability of a trickle charger for the W211?

I understand that a microprocessor prevents the use of "regular" chargers.

Salespeople at the dealer said, "Just use a regular charger from the auto parts store..." Hmmm, he didn't even know that there were two batteries in the car... that's really confidence inspiring.
