I'm all about core competencies, so cars as complex as the current generation of teutonic luxury sedans means I don't go near it.
I used to do some work on my track toy (sold), a '99 M3 - be able to do some general work in the paddock like change brake pads or flush brake fluids. But those days are over...for now.
On the subject of vintage racing at Seattle, a good friend lives in West Van and vintage races an '02 ('71 I think), loves the vintage racing scene in BC and Pacific Northwest.
