I have a 06 E350, and I'm a bit of a "ricer".

I like the AMG badge. I ended up buying one, and it came last night. Now my internal drama begins... do I put it on, and risk humiliation and finger pointing, or leave it off?

I have E63 wheels on it, and an AMG wing, and the only other thing im going to do is to lower it.

Would I be a "l4m3 rIc3R" if I put on this badge?

Help me decide!

Why stop at the AMG badge? You should have gotten an //M badge from BMW and maybe an SRT badge from a Dodge Neon as well. Those will give you about 200HP more!

Don't forget a a really big sticker for the top of the windshield too. Go with something classy like TYPE-R (purple letters preferably)...

See, you can't get a BMW M without it being a M3, M5, M6, etc.

You can't get an SRT without it having a special engine.

However, you can get an E350 with an AMG appearance package.

Apples and oranges.

uh...wait a minute. i have 2 S classes. 1 is stock, the other has straight pipes, tints, 20's, black side markers, mean tailpipes, a system and its DEBADGED...oh yeah and everything about the car is black and chrome so i dont know what your talking about the factory accessories? all im saying

My point is that AMG is so loose now with Mercedes, since AMG has appearance packages, and does not have the 6.3 or 5.5L engines.

I searched around, but couldn't find if E350s with the AMG appearance package also had the badge.

At this point, it's not even about if I should put the badge on, but the reactions. it's like I slept with your mothers!

NOT true!

In Europe you can order the M-sport package and the car will come with a few //M badges (steering wheel, rims, etc), without really being an M car.

you've got a hell of a car honestly...so if you do something, just debadge it and have people wonder. then when some lil kid comes up next to ya thinking he can take a luxo benz...you can give it to him.

(and the tailpipes ive got arent even that mean, i just got some AMG's from the internet...didnt do the AMG exhaust though)

I got the E63 wheels, because they looked to be the nicest stock wheels Mercedes has for the W211. So I'm not trying to look like the E63, but I couldn't bear the stock wheels, so ugly.

I'm not trying to pretend my car is a race car or anything, I've had my share of modified cars in the past, the E350 is the complete opposite of those, and that's why I love it Nice and quiet!

I was thinking of putting some H&R or Eibachs on it, but still researching to see if people are happy with the ride. Otherwise I'm pretty much done with it. I was thinking of adding blue tooth or the NAV (I found a nav unit at the junk yard for $300), but I found I need a lot more than jsut the nav unit to get it to work.

Oh well...

I was thinking of selling my wife's accord, and giving her the E350, and getting a 03 or 04 E55 since they are not too expensive right now, but those are bad thoughts!

I purchased my 2002 E320 and It had an AMG badge on it from the presvious owner. No one ever ask about so I dont bring it up or try and pass it off as one.
