CLK430
My CLK430 Covertible 2001 was giving me acceleration flat spots, gear changing problems, especially when accelerating hard. Since spraying every single electrical connection, and everywhere else under the bonnet with WD40, it now goes, and sounds like a rocket. Anyone have any ideas why? It seems too good to be true!

Update. My local Car Parts shop owner, told me WD40 will work initially, then will go gungey. I have now used Wynns Switch Cleaner.

Would this have prevented someone like you from mucking it up?

This is the point, after all.
