My Bi-Xenons

I just got my new E320 with Bi-Xenon.

Since I am new to these kinds of lights, I'm trying to determine if they are aligned properly.

When I am up-close (head on) to a wall, they seem to line up. However, in the near distance both beams seem to extend out straight and then veer right...but at a definite angle. It looks as if a straight line bends. It forms about a 170degree angle.

Is this normal?

Yeah that seems about right

Mine have a pattern that is a horizontal edge on the left of center and at just left of center turns upward to the right in a straight line.

I believe this is to prevent dazzling oncoming drivers which would, in the US, be on your left.

Jabo is correct. It is to prevent dazzling oncoming drivers.
