oil filter cap

Any one have a suggestion on were to get the oil filter cap replacement. After oil change it leaks under pressure on my 01 e320. Gaskets are correct it looks like someone overtightened through the years.

They are only $6.25 from the dealer, part number 0000100285,are you close to a dealer?
BTW your car is using the same oil cap that MB has used for 20+ years so it should not be too hard to find aftermarket as well.
Also the gasket is available for $2.50 part number 1110180080.

It should not leak; its where you install the rubber ring on the filler cap prior to installation and tightening is very important. Do not start with rubber ring all the way up above the threads; install it several threads (folks say a couple or more) below the top and you should not have any problem. I sprung a leak on my very first self oil change and realiized my mistake immediately but not before I had an oil spill, fortunately the strong jet just squirted past my ear while the hood was up.
