Can someone do a quick Photoshop for me (mod idea)?

Hey, could someone PS the rear diffuser area on my car to a black one? I've been set on keeping it monochromatic as IMO it looks more unique (every other AMG package or AMG M-B has the black diffuser, and eevery car has a black diffuser nowadays), but would like to see the difference for my own knowledge.

Any or all of the Pictures would work:

Thanks.

Thanks so much!

Yeah, I think I'll stick with it monochromatic, looks cleaner on this particular car IMO.

Hmm, I actually like the black diffuser. It gives more "shape" to the rear bumper... IMO of course.

Cool, yeah I keep going back to it and my opinion somewhat keeps changing. I can't tell if I like it better or not, I'm still leaning toward not but it's a tough call....

Any other opinions are very welcome.

I prefer the monochrome look. Interestingly, the Jaguar XF diffuser is black (see photo -- not my car), and I've been wondering why Jaguar chose not to paint it body color. I suspect it's because their bumper is rather fat, so painting the diffuser makes it look thinner. The W211 bumper really isn't that fat, so it looks fine monochrome.

Yeah, that's exactly why I think it looks okay being monochrome. Fat bumpers are in a much more dire need to black out the bottom or else they look like their butts are sagging.

I've noticed EVERY car nowadays has a black diffuser, from entry level Econ boxes to the highest end, seems car companies can't help but copy the hell out of each other these days.

Maybe it's to save money since they don't have to paint it. I like yours painted the same color as the car, more classy IMO.

Plus on the Jag the way the rear bumper is designed it almost looks like the body panel so it would look odd having the diffuser the same color ..

Cool, thanks man, yeah, classy is exactly the word I always thought best describes it with it painted monochrome, at least on my particular car.

I like the effect you put on your sig pic BTW, it brings out the more striking angles of the car, something about the lighting on the original one didn't show those off.

Boy, I learn something new every day.....never knew that was called a "diffuser".
I wonder why though, what does it diffuse?

Actually I think the term diffuser is technically meant for race-car style rear bumpers with totally recessed middle areas (probably for aerodynamics or downforce I'm assuming), I think it actually shouldn't be called a diffuser technically on any of these production cars that are trying to emulate the look by simply blacking out the middle bottom of their bumpers. I just dunno what else to call it, hah.
