end of lease buyout

has anybody recently been offered a discount to buy their car at the end of the lease from MB Financail? I was offered 30K last month for my 2007 Saks e350 (p2, leather, xenon, pano roof etc) and then they recently raised it to 35k...my lease ends in a few weeks.

I was offered about $1000 off of the residual but its still 7K above top market. This was on my 05 E320 4M. MB financial has become inflexable and not very customer friendly. This is totally the opposite that I had experienced with the prior 5 MB's I had leased thru them.

Agreed they are waaaaaay behind the times. Just walk away, no discounts. My residual is = to buying a brand new CLS 63. They are discounting 15-20k sticker, used values plummeted, yet unwilling to re-work any loans or leases.

Bottom line is the Luxury Auto market will crumble next, and DAI is not immune. Germany is not doing any better than USA. 4 90k plus Mercedes paid off in full and the finance company offers no solutions.
