Almost parting thoughts
I remember coming to this message board reading about the 2003 E500 I wanted to buy in 2002. I did make the purchase and still have it. I need to document my experience. Mostly negative. As one point I never had to wash my car. It was in the dealership every three weeks so they cleaned it for me.

Yeah, I was tortured by my loaded '04 too. Always in the shop just like yours for issues large and (not) small. MB truely let buyers down with the 211s the 1st few years. They learned their lesson well though. My '07 has been flawless... in only once a year for routine service. Too bad that we had to be the sacraficial lambs. Knowing they fixed the problems in later years doesn't do much for you. If its any consolation, my friends were tortured by their BMWs too.
