Independent MB shop in Vancouver, BC?
Could anyone recommend a good independent MB shop in Vancouver area?
My 2003 E320 needs some repair/maintenance works--just routine nothing big--and it would help a great deal as it is out of warranty by a long shot.
In terms of DIY, I am somewhat familiar with Japanese cars, but have not tried anything on E320.
I've replaced air filters (cabin, intake, activated charcoal) but that's about it.
I guess I can try oil change by draining though the drain plug as I don't have a fluid extractor.
Any pointer will be much appreciated.

I know of a terrific indepandant shop but they're not specific to MB.
Advance Automotive
314-5930 No. 6 Road, Richmond, BC V6V 1Z1
Telephone : 604-278-1803
Johnny Leung is the owner. I've brought my last two Mercedes to him as well as my past cars, Mini/VW/Porsche. They work on all car makes.
Specifically they're really great at diagnosing issues right the first time. They're much cheaper than the independant "european" shops charge and a fraction of what the dealer charges.
I'm planning to go there in the next week or two to install my DTM flat-bottom steering wheel, oil change and alignment.
Good luck

Thank you very much for your input. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
It doesn't have to be MB specific so long as they have some experience working on MB.
If something big happened I'll have to take it to a dealership, lief or loath.
As I was merely looking to do some routine maintenance job, the shop you recommended seems perfect for what I was looking for.
Thanks again.

Trust me, they're the best kept secret in Vancouver! The shop and setting isn't as pretty as others shops though, you will be very impressed with the quality of work and price. They're typically booked a week in advance. Saturday's are booked out at least 1 month.
Good luck

Hi again.
Would still like some input for someone in Vancouver that does affordable, good quality body work.
Our car impacted a concrete column and needs some love. Nothing serious, but definitely needs to be attended to.

Hi everyone. Resurrecting this thread.
I'm looking for a good shop to replace our rear shocks.
And by the way, for collision repair work, http://www.ferreiracollisioncentres.com/ near the southern foot of the Granville Bridge do wonderful work!
