W212 E350 AMG E63 Pack.
I do have Audio 50 because that is the only way to get Logic7, what I do not understand is this proposal since most of the USA owners opted for the Logic 7 option that comes with Audio 50.

The Audio 50 in the US does not have NAVI.
I belive this is the biggest difference. I think RDS may also be diabled in the US version and it bothers the hell outta me. For example, my COMAND is not RDS enabled however a friend who bought a EURO spec COMAND unit and retrofitted it into his car has more features than i do.

Euro CD

I've been through Paris , TX and Rome, GA but
I don't think those cities are on the CDs that are available with this system.

Currently in Australia, the E320 and E500 come with the Audio 50 APS + 6CD changer. The car was SUPPOSED to come standard with the COMMAND DVD APS, but as you all know, the release date for that around the world has been pushed back to goodness knows when.

MB dealerships will be retrofitting them free of charge around July 03 if all goes to plan. Hence, MB Australia decided to let early E owners playwith the Audio 50 whilst they waited for the retrofit instead of the Audio 20 fitted here only to the E240s.

If you guys are interested, I might ask the dealership if I'm allowed to keep the Audio 50. As far as I know, it is the Euro spec version. It has NAVI and RDS but no NAVI disc. The earlier navigation CDs (eg. the ones fitted to the W220, the W210, the CLK etc) don't work in the W211's Audio 50 as they were made by different companies (Blaupunkt/Becker ....or is it Nokia now??- sorry not sure).

Anway, just my $0.02. Doubt I added much to this discussion.
