Going for a long "drive"

We are leaving Friday morning for Las Vegas and SoCal. From Seattle it is something over 1500 miles, 3000 miles round trip.

Decided to drive this time to enjoy the E-500. I was just thinking of all the problems that I haven't had yet and what a pain it would be if they happened on the road

Lets see...radio/CD failure; SOS/gateway module failure/, etc.

The good news is I have replaced my motor mounts, so no ticking.
Windshield wipers are being replaced today (very noisy), and hopefully the pulling to right will be corrected today.

I sure hope I can come back and report that all went well. I will try to check in some time during the trip from my laptop.

!!!WARNING!!!
This forum is not good for you. I am just leaving and without thinking found myself putting in all my washing and Zainoing equipment...2 buckets, 2 mitts, MF towels, waffle towels, Z2, Z6, etc. I can't even remember the last time I washed a car before getting hammered to do it here:p

Oh well, maybe I can find somewhere to wash it on the road and not have to take it thru a car wash

I am out the door.

Hope that you enjoyed a route other than I-5 or I-15.
Let us know what route or part of what route you enjoyed, and why.
I guess that the Nav system would help, but we will save that conversation for later.
Maybe you have an alternative GPS available, if so share that with us.
