Unfortunately, I've found the 722.9 transmission to be very poor. I've had multiple issues and have just had the transmission replaced at 74k mikes, which is unnaceptable.

i am at 104,000 and it drives fine, just the problem from switching back and forth from c to s. :?

At 86k.. having this issue, indy can't do anything since there is no code for the claims adjustor of my extended warranty to see.
Im guessing they would need some type of proof to pay out.

Make sure they check for engine codes and not just transmission codes. In my case, the transmission didn't store a code but the engine did - and the extended warranty replaced the transmission.

Will do ! Can this be resolved by replacing the known valve body or whole transmission, and has it been resolved for you since the replacement ?

I had a very hard 2-3 up shift at slow speed - eg, stop and go driving. Felt like I'd need rear-ended sometimes. Also a very hard 2-1 downshift coming to a stop. The dealer suggested a refurbished transmission rebuilt by Mercedes. Retail installed was about $4500. It seems to have cured both issues.

Hello all, well to start off i have a 2016 mercedes cla 250. with 32,000 kms

Here is my problem:

Hard down shift from 2nd to first gear, this happens when i come to a complete stop everytime, it happens when im in E, C and Sport. Feels like a jerk when it downshifts in the whole car

Car is still under warranty, ive taken to to mercedes 3 times, they reset it, they took data and sent it out, they keep telling me thats how all these car drive. I dont know if its the dual clutch or the valve body. The car shifts smoothly when upshifting, its just that annoying 2nd to 1st hard downshift. Is it possible its the valve body? Please Help.
