E500 4Matics in '04

E500 4Matic will not be available until '04 model is introduced, current estimates are mid-autumn (October-ish) of this year. I have one on order....

Already being made?

Someone earlier posted that they saw a TV Piece showing the first E Class 4Matics coming off the line at a plant in Graz Austria. May well be heading to another market or simply are preproduction models for testing and promotion, but who knows?

Could certainly be for Europe or other markets that typically get new models earlier, but I've been assured US will not see them until '04 line is introduced, and that it is highly unlikely that will be until fall of this year. So we wait....and wait...and read this forum...and get anxious....and wait some more.
