Center Piller/Rocker Exterior Trim

The long plastic trim piece along the vehicle's left bottom side that's just below the doors and goes from the front wheel area back to the rear wheel area needs to be replaced.......the Mercedes catalog calls it the Center Piller/Rocker Exterior Trim. This trim piece has several push-in tabs that attach it to the underside of the vehicle so it doesn't appear to be very difficult to remove and replace with a new trim piece. Has anyone done this before and offer some suggestions.......the MB Dealer Body Shop would probably charge 1-2 hours labor to install it.

Well, I just came back from my MB Dealer's body shop and it will cost a little over $500 parts and labor to fix it...........I decided to just let my comprehensive insurance coverage pay for it which has no deductible. They're going to inspect for other possible damage when they do the repair on Monday.........the weight of the car pushed the fender panel up slightly and that might also need replacing.
