Can anyone check if this Valeo radiator is faulty(leaking)?

Hey guys,

My transmission was acting a bit strange and stuff, especially on cold starts...I read lots of posts around here and surely read a lot about fauly Valeo radiators leaking glycol into transmission, i checked my radiator and it says Valeo on it, this is the part number:

W211 500 32 02 Q3

Valeo RA1414 876955M A

This is my chassis number: WDB2110261A604125

Thanks a lot for help!

Your build date is from 2004, the problematic Valeo radiators were supposed to be used only up to 08/2003 or so. I guess not all of those early ones were leaking and then again, who knows one from Behr would lead at some point but at least your radiators should not be one of those often leaking. I did not check the part number though, I assume it is from the factory. The new Valeo part number has been posted too, I did not check that either.

The Valeo Part # A2115000202 was the faulty radiator and Part #A2115003102 is the redesigned replacement radiator. Appears you do not have the affected radiator in your vehicle.

May be the torque converter clutch in addition if not done recently and over 40000 miles look into changing the ATF.

That's...good news I read on some german forum that there have been cases on vehicles produced in 2006 with faulty radiators. I am also from Europe so...you never know
