Any recommendations for a good MB mechanic/shop in the San Jose bayarea? Trying to escape from a dealer to replace the ball joints & strut arms.

They're a bit far from you, but I go there from the East Bay. You should try Tony and Bob Independent Mercedes Benz in Burlingame. They are very good, reliable and honest. They're right across the Broadway Caltrain parking lot on the other side of the station. The parking lot is behind Tom Harvey Acura.

 

STAR AUTO SErVICE, 1555 S. 10th st, ( between Phelan and Alma ) . go there and ask for Joe or Kiet. tell them Duy send you, they will give you discount. They are master-certified MB tech and used to work for Beshoff Motorcar. most of the SJ MB-owner go to them for servicing, i think. their rate is wayyy cheaper then the dealer, any job.
