2007/2008 E550 4matic test drive
Just wanted to show my appreciation for the E550, I'm very impressed with the car. It's a dealership loaner while the E63 was in the shop. Previously I had the E55, both W210 and W211.
It's nice to have all the traction out of corners and at intersections going from 0-30 mph. Brake torque a little and zoom, you're gone.
I know it sounds crazy but I actually feel more confident in the E550 than the AMG models zipping in and out in town. Nicer ride as well with more road friendly side wall.
No fuss efficient speeding. The car is so useable and I can't picture how lovely it will be if in the rain.
I think I may get the W212 E550 4matic, just practical, now if they have the same black wood, I'm in..
