Vorsteiner looks good. How much is it? Do they have a roof top spoiler too?

I have an OEM E63 spoiler; you may check it out in my photo album. I had MB install it for me. $700 for the spoiler and $100 for install using some type of polyurethane glue. It sure is stuck very well and not going away.

Let me say it is very effective; don't ask how I know.

what does your car look like? That spoiler is a bit much. There is one that is a similar design but not nearly as tall, its the Wald spoiler and i know Brabus E500 on the forums has one for sale. Try to PM him or search for his thread. I don't think he has sold it yet. Its a bit more subtle IMO but have a look I know he has pictures. The board is great for awesome deals on second hand stuff. GL show us some pics of your car

I've got a hookup for a few new OEM E63 AMG rear trunk spoilers. I think they're about 700 from the dealer, let me know if you're truly interested and what your offer is. I can have them in hand as soon as you give word.

PM me.

do any of the trunk spoilers have any affect on the electric trunk opener/closer due to the weight? back in the day i added a spoiler to a hatchback car and it wore out the hydraulic struts or whatever they're called prematurely.

These are only lip spoilers and not wings. They weigh very, very little.

If they did, MB wouldn't offer it as an option on the non-AMG cars.

To make this thread more interesting, links to photos of all the various types. I'm leaning towards the E63 spoiler for my E550.

E63 spoiler ftw...the name of the 211 game is subtle, classy, CLEAN. Unless you are going to track your car try to stay away from anything too in your face or you may stray in to rice territory. Whatever you choose, may sure to get something that looks like it should have always been there! (Disclaimer: my opinion only) I don't think you can go wrong with any AMG upgrades such as the E63 spoiler

i have an e63 spoiler. i had a friend in the parts dept at a dealer so he was able to get me the spoiler at cost which was $424 and it cost $100 installed by the dealer. it came prepainted and it was a perfect color match.

You saved almost three hundred on what I paid; $700 + $100 installation. I have no regrets going with OEM upgrades. Now I need to get hold of a complete list of components required for an upgrade to E63 front bumper; I thought of purchasing a complete new E63 but feel I only need the bumper

2009 E350 AMG SPORT PKG
I'm also faced with the same question and new here.

I purchased a 2009 E350 w?AMG Sport Package and am considering a spoiler. I'm only looking at OEM and after reading this thread am torn between the 3 piece and the single E63 version mentioned.

Anyone have thoughts???? I don't want the car to look tacky but would welcome a sporty upgrade...the line may be fine

Thanks!

eBay has clones for "buy it now" of $49 in primer.

You indicate you have "dark limo tint." Is that legal out there on the left coast? (If not, how do you get away with it?)

I'm in Florida, and the FHP love to write tickets for illegal tint. Of course, their "unmarked" cars have tint so dark that it screams COP!

I got pulled over 7 times since last year since I've got it and they never even mentioned it. Their concern was always that I would have drugs, hand granates and bazookas in the trunk.

But after checking the papers they always let me go.

The worst that can happen in Cali. is that you get a fixing ticket. But the shop I went includes that into the price to re-apply the foil right after you let a cop sign it off. He told me come buy even before you go to the mailbox to re-apply new foil. And the best part: He does all 7 windows for 20 bucks only in case you have to tear it down. And for the initial cost I get life time warranty for bubbling, fading, scratching and any other things that can happen to the window tint.

Great offer, super quality! Would recommend the shop in a heard beat!

Yep, 145 for all 7 windows the first time, then for each re-application after a fixing ticket just 20 bucks for all 7 windows again!
