Question About Front Lower Grille?
I've kind of gotten bored with the front lower grille, and someone suggested to me that change the color to silver/chrome to match the upper grille. Do you guys know of any lower front grilles that are not black and could fit the 2007+ E350?

Damn, are those all rock chips on the front?
I'd be curious to see the result of having any silver material in there, but I don't think it will look right....
If I'm not mistaken, M-B for some reason decided to cheapen out the grille material with the face-lifted W211's, and use a plastic honey-comb-ish lower middle grille. If this is the case for your car, maybe try and get some glossy black metal mesh, like mine (pre face-lift AMG bumper) to use in its place. It's subtle, but if you're an attention-to-detail freak like I am, perhaps it could help.

I ordered a new black and silver main grill for my vehicle from AllMercedes.com. They have some lower replacement grills there, too. In my case, I removed my lower grills and repainted them with semi-gloss black...........I posted a DIY with photo about a month ago here but mine is not the sport lower grill.

Yea, those are from the wonderful Michigan roads! Since I have the Sachs Golden Key Edition (special black with red flake paint) it's a little bit harder to fill all those chips in. For now, I'll stick with the black plastic grille, if need be, I'll move up to a gloss metal grille replacement.
