one of the reasons y i wanna get the sand/stone interior
.....it looks soooooo good.....but mine being the avantgarde will have the black maple wood.....but still looks awesome with sand
m not too keen on silver b,coz so far 99% of new E's tht ive seen here in the uk are all silver....thts y i was thinkin maybe black or the new tealite blue...........
All suggestions are welcome.....

thank you
I'm female, by the way. Guys might not like it as much????
Anyway, bottom line, you need to struggle with the decision yourself. I really wanted the white with ash grey interior but was afraid it might look funny with the black glass panorama roof. Too choppy maybe? Probably would have been fine. They're all pretty. I hope you don't make yourself nuts with this like I did!lol

I voted silver/gray, but would actually prefer silver/charcoal as Schvetkaaks suggested. It makes the interior stand out more. We have charcoal in our SL and it is really sharp. You do need to consider the dark wood on the sport package. But the picks of that look terrific.

coz at times it did seem a bit too dark.....so far silver seems to be the choice but like i said b4....... i love the silver combination but coz mostof the new E's out there are silver i want a different colour combo....
thanks for voting ppl......n suggestions still welcome
Sue - the avantgarde is the same as getting the sports package (i think
) n ur right jhb, avantgarde/sports package does make the E look extra special
love the 5 spoke alloys....
personally, i want to get either the black exterior with sand interior or tealite blue exterior with sand intrior........but i might jus decide to get black exterior with grey interior or i could get the tealite blue exterior with grey interior.......DAMN!!! i think im gonna hav some serious problems choosing the colour combo of my new E
actually, u know wot......i might get silver exterior with grey interior.......DOH!!!!....... hhhhhhheeeeeeeeelllllllllppppppppppppppp
Tealite is recommended with wither ash, charcoal or blue leather, while stone isnt recomended, i have seen it @ the dealership and it looks pretty good, contrasting, but too contrasting for my taste, on the other hand think im the only one on this forum who has ventured boldly to where no man has set foot before, and i aint referring to start treck either, we were afraid charcoal would be too much for our hot climate but we wanted something dark so we went for blue..........an interior color no one on this forum has even mentioned let alone posted a pic, i had to get a road and track review of a clk to see what it looked like!, i saw a tealite blue on ash interior and it looked perfect, sooooooo classy, only prob is if i call my dealer again, ill need to stay indoors for a day or two in case snipers have been deployed on the roof you feel me? so were taking a big risk with blue and i dont think it will look very good with the birds eye maple on the sport/avantgarde...but it'll grow on us eventually i hope. Tealite on ash gets my vote on this one
Im posting a pic i got off this forum of tealite/grey and heres the link to a pic i posted of telaite on stone

I am partial to some of the metallic blue colors - and in particular the Platinum Blue avail in the US. Not sure is this is same as teal blue you mention. One caution on a blue color - some historic colors are difficult for other drivers to see, so maybe a safety issue. About 15 years back I had a powder blue car and always had to watch for people pulling out in front of me.
In either case I would recommend the grey interior and not one with brown tones. Better color coordination and should be easier to maintain.
I am happy with my color choices but have been second guessing myself regarding Platinum Blue over Desert Sand.
Good luck.
I have been hooked to silver myself!
Ash is my personal preference for interior as it creates an air of spaciousness and highlights the wood and chrome trims well. The top of the dashboard is usually dark Ash which breaks-up the monotony of a single tone as in the case of Charcoal. Good luck in your choice of color and trim. Buy what you like most.
Going to the dealers tomorrow.........take a look at the E and have a little chat etc.......hopefully wil be ordering very soon

Thanks for all ur votes and info......
