I need to replace the passenger/right side mirror glass on a 2009 E350 (North American, if it makes any difference). Could anyone provide me with any diagrams?

Also - is there an internet parts department/dealer or somewhere I can order OEM replacement parts from that everyone recommends?

Try the W211 section since yours is an 09. This section is for the 2010 E-class.

 

OK, wrong forum. My WIS is not as modern as 2009 - but these parts might not have changed for your E350.

Regarding the 'wedge' tool shown, I guess you could fashion something out of a piece of hardwood.

Once you have released the spring, it looks like the glass is still being held by 'arrests' which are dislodged by the wedge.

I cannot visualise exactly what these are, distibuted around the unit, so after you have completed this job perhaps you could post back and advise us..

Hi...been searching the internet for any DIY info on side mirror removal but came up empty.
Can anyone help with info on how to remove the side mirror (passenger, right side)? I was able to remove the mirror, motor but don;t know how to remove the shell/casing.
