hey

i had the jerking issues and slipping with tranny.

they did software update first. seemed fine for a week and then problems came back.
i was in 5th gear and got no response from gas pedal and car just stayed at 50 mph!


next they changed valve body. it seems to be better however the car just does not shift as well as before. i still feel like something is wrong. also now there is a slight shudder when i change b/w sport and comfort mode which was not present before i think.

should i be patient? will the transmission smooth out over time?

please advise.

People have posted that the tranny needs to re-learn your driving style & shift points after trans work. Pay attention to it. Only you know your car as well as possible. You will know if it is behaving better. If not, press the issue.

just had valve body replaced
i have given the car a month to adjust but shift points are still off

also the car shudders now when i change from sport to comfort mode
the dealer did smooth out a problem i had with jerking b/w 1st and 2nd

now my main issue is from 5 to 6 and 6 to 7.
the car is shifting 5 to 6 at 55 mph which feels too high (than before) and 6 to 7 at 63 mph.

can they fix this
should i demand a new tranny
anyone else going thru this?

You should search and review the various posting threads on the W211 transmisssions......there's tons of info about tranny issues.
