Brabus lowering springs
Hi all,
Does anyone have experience using these springs for an e-class? I'm curious to know how much the springs will lower my vehicle. Just purchased my new wheels and tires and would like to drop the height about .50 inch or so.
Thanks-Shugl

Brabus doesn't make springs in house. They are Eibach products. I'd check with them or call CEC.

Brabus' website notes various spring lowering kits. Are you saying that Eibach makes the springs for the Brabus line of products (i.e. private label)?

Yes. There only a handful of auto spring manufacturers in the world who actually make the springs in house. Most everyone else who sells them outsources to someone. Eibach produces springs to Brabus's specs but I can't imagine those specs are much to any different than what Eibach comes up with for one of their own kits for the same car. For example, I know Eibach has different levels of sportiness when purchasing springs, ie. pro kit and so on for a number of models. I'm sure one of these kits coincides with what Brabus offers for each vehicle. It wouldn't make any sense if they didn't. Eibach only does springs and puts in hours of R&D so for Brabus to have them make something different than what they have already come up with really wouldn't make sense.
