MB Ipod interface - Do i lose the aux input?
I am thinking of getting the MB ipod interface but was wondering if I will lose the aux input in the glove box. Also does anyone have the installation instructions I can take a look at?
TIA

I have the factory IPOD interface in my car and I didn't see an AUX in put in the glove box, so I'm guessing yes you do. I am sure there is some way to put a splitter in there and retain both, though. I did it with my old 4Runner and used my IPOD and a Sirius Tuner.

I was thinking of getting one, but after trying it out in the W204 c loaner i got, I realized I couldn't change the albums w/o unhooking the thing. Couldn't figure it out. Decided not to.
Yes, you lose AUX. Another reason I decided not to.

My MY08 E350 has MB IPod and AUX capability. I switch between regular FM radio/Sirius/and Pandora via Aux.

If you have MY09, you have AUX, iPod and USB interfaces. Aux supports video, however iPod doesn't. MB includes two cables, one for iPod, another one for USB. Both cables have AUX support though.
