2007 E350 Wiper Sensor Problem
It appears that my windshield wipers go nuts in the slightest of drizzles/rain when it's on the automatic setting. Does anyone else have this problem?
Is it just due to streaky wiper blades? It's not -that- bad, but there is some -slight- streaking. Would that be enough to cause this?
I brought it in yesterday to the dealership and they said they re-programmed/fixed the sensor, but the problem still occurs.

I find that the wiper sweep speed/frequency is a little too frantic in a rapid drizzle... no one needs to wipe that frantically... its STILL just a drizzle. Turn the wiper switch one click further & it will still be in a rainsense mode, just with a different sensitivity. It might satisfy your eye more. (The switch settings are Rainsense I, Rainsense II, Slow Wipe, Fast Wipe).
