E-Class (W-211)
TV Tuner help
Guys, I own a 2005 e500 with NAV (w211) and have a couple of questions. I have tried searching the forums and the net, but haven’t been able to locate the info, so please go easy…

  • Is a Euro Command required to install a digital TV tuner?
    • If yes, does this void the warranty?
  • Can the US command be converted to accomplish this?
  • Recommendations on which tuner to purchase and from where?
  • Any install instructions on tuner and/or command installs?
  • Any recommendations on a good install shop on the east coast? I live in Raleigh, NC.

Note that there is no MB US digital TV tuner, you would not get the same integration with an after market digital tuner as with the MB Euro tuner.
