Need Some Help!!!

I've been searching the web for awhile now, basically since i bought the car, and can not find a single performance mod for 07 e350's. No turbo kits, superchargers, cams, and only maybe one or 2 flashes, no bolt on catbacks, cant find a damn thing. Am I the only one who thinks these cars are slow, I mean charger r/t's, 300 c's, g8's,bmw 335's and 535's and even a g37 can walk these things at 1/2,except for the bm's, the price. I know I can trade it in for a 550 but even the not worth the price difference for the little added gain, and a 30 grand domestice will still take it. Any help would be appreciated or if anyones done or knows of anyone who's done a custom turbo or some kind of build up please share....

If you like more performance on the W211, why don't you buy a E63 ?. Most MB car is tuned to the max for their respective model. This is a German car, NOT a Japanese car, so it had been design to perform as such model. I think you are talking about the performance on the W211 E350 is NOT there, go get an E63 (or older E55) you will see the different performance of the E350 & E63. Most of the aftermarket tuner know this, that why you can not find any add on crap for the E350 (only cosmetic, light, rims..) NOT engine performance update.

If i had the money I would've but you dont have to buy an asian car to get go fast parts, look at all the support out there for bmw owners, and same goes for audi, you can even find stuff for volvo's. Performance upgrades are for people that might not always have the money to get the hi-po version, for example taking an audi a4 2.0t and making it faster then the s4 for only a few grand rather then dishing out 20k extra, same with mustangs, vets, bmw's and all the others.

You can buy an eaton m90 supercharger then install a air to water intercooler

probably set you back a few grand

it would probably give you 40% more hp?

I also heard from a guy on mbonline that the mercedes engines are already reinforced so there is no a big issue with putting a turbo in, but instead of the car lasting 300 000 miles it will probably only last 250 000 or something like that. Don't quote me on it but it is all possible you just have to be willing to spend more money. If not, buy a E55, there was a point in time when that was the fastest 4 door in the world.

LOL... The difference between a 550 and a 350 acceleration wise is stunning. The extra content is just an extra package of goodies. The 550 seat of pants wise is as thrilling as W210 E 55's. Plus look around as you drive. They're pretty rare. All you see are 350s.

Go try an 07 550.

still well over 30 to get one with low miles, and in good shape for a what a 5.2 0-60 and mid 13's on the 1/4, slap a turbo upgrade on a 1 or 2yr old bmw 535 or pick a brand new srt-8 or g8 gxp stock or with bolt-ons and your walking it. Not worth losing $ on my car and spending more$ when hopefully i could get mid 13's or better with a few grand in mods in anyone knows of any. I'm not bashing my car or the E's I love evrything they do except for thier speed, I want to keep the car and not get into something else. No one on this site has done or knows of someone who's done anything with the 350? remote mount turbo or the eaton mentioned above? I'm talking i would be happy with 350whp, a tune, nitrous and full exhaust should be able to accomplish that if anyones done or those, or if the parts are avail right?

E350 is women's car, and ladies are not so enthusiastic for any mods. If you are really care of performance, then E550 looks like a better choice and pricewise it isn’t such high as E63. And E550 is good in fuel economy, although it is rated as a guzzler car, you can easily get 23mpg on everyday driving.

Lol if a 350 is a womans car wtf is mine, a childs?

But yes, even though Benz prides itself as making some of the worlds most efficient engines, I think they did have the worlds most efficient engine a few years ago, because it is a V8 it is just a "gas guzzler".

I think the new w212 E63 averages something ridiculously low, not sure on the specifics though.

Search google for Eaton M90, there is a lot. You could also look into rotrex superchargers, they are used widely in BMWs.

That is my problem as well, I am still trying to find more info on how to match it up. Sorry, but if you find anything in your searches please pm, I will do likewise.

this coming from the guy driving a soft top 1 series I care more about performance then fuel economy anway, scarz thanks for the helpful info and not being a complete fanboy and being able to admit this car can be faster. If do come across anything I'll def pm you. I drove a e63 today, dealer has it marked down about 20 grand off sticker, 80k out the door, and a 2k rebate, so 78 all said and done. Im sure with a turbo or sc and some other mods an e350 can be just as fast if not faster if the parts are out there, and it would be less then 78grand. the sticker said 13mpg in the city and in the 20's on the highway.

why didn't you get a 500 or 550? In my search for an eclass, i debated the issue (gas, v8 vs v6 etc) and ended up w/the 500. It came down to 2 cars, a white amg 07 E350 or 06 obsidian black E500. Same mileage but E500 i got a lower price and CPO warranty w/it. While the 350 wouldn't budge on price and no CPO warranty, had to pay extra.

There are too many 350s out there and only a few 500/550s. I'm glad i made the right decision to get the 500 instead of the 350. After warranty runs out, i will be getting a ecu reflash, kleemann/renntech header, airbox, and exhaust

The car has basically every option, and i got it for $400 a mo, with no money down, just had to pay for plates and 1st pymt. so i couldn't pass it up. Its hard to find domestic for that price let alone a car that stickered at 65,000

So mine must be a teenager with a bad attitude

The E350 isn't that slow. I mean I drove one, and compared to the E320, it's a huge difference. If you want speed you should look into a E550 or another car brand.

I was hoping that the new E350 would come with the new 3.5L V6 that the SLK350 has that pushes 300 hp due to changes in the engine design.

Yeah if you want naturally aspirated speed, don't buy a V6 go the whole 9 yards and buy the V8 or upgrade to the AMG as most people end up spending at least 5K for it to look like the AMG haha
