I'm not a fan of forced induction, in my opinion it will REDUCE engine life & pull Mpg numbers down (increase in compression ratios that aren't taken into account by manufacturer will increase wear n tear)

Here's what I have in mind:

- Any suitable Intake mod (non oil based so MAF doesnt go bad)
- Exhaust headers to ease back pressure

Anything else ?

If you just add headers, you'll lose HP. You'll need an ECU tune to take advantage of the extra airflow. Remember, back pressure is your friend on these cars. I lost horsepower when I added headers, removed my secondary cats, and deleted the resonator with a X-pipe. But, after L.E.T. worked their vodoo on my car, I got it all back plus more.

To gain 22 whp on a 350 engine is not easy nor cheap. But, if you must have 20-25 hp, you'll need at the very least, an ECU tune and extensive exhaust work. Add a set of lightweight forged wheels, and you should be able to squeeze 25 ponies out of her. Gonna cost thousands to get there though.

Ask me how I know.

You might be able to try a variant of the VRP python tube intake. Completely removes the OEM airbox and straight plumbs the intake to the front of the car with a set of cone filters. Not sure what you'd gain, if anything, on a 350 engine.

On an aside, I have the lightweight wheels for sale right now.
Currently, I own the quickest naturally aspirated E500 on record.
