Front bumper protective strip removal -any hints?
Hi
One of the parking sensors in my front bumper got pushed back after I hit a (stupid) bird that didn't fly off quickly enough as I approached it. So my parktronic now misfunctions and I have to turn it off.
In order to get to it, I am going to need to remove the protective strip. I know a number of you guys here have replaced the standard ones with Euro ones, so has anyone got any tips on how exactly to remove this as I would like to try and do this without breaking anything/scratching paintwork (or having to suffer the inconvenience/cost of going into a dealer). I've tried the search facility but this has not come up with anything of note. Pics woulud be nice, but if not just a guide as to where exactly to start, what tools to use etc.
The bumper is a 2005 AMG one if that's of consequence.
